We pay for databases, emails, and custom-domain routing — those costs are the reason Pro exists. But there are lines we won’t cross, because a profile builder that punishes you for shipping is a profile builder that’s not worth using.

FAQ

The small print, out loud.

Can I cancel anytime?: Yes. Cancel from the billing portal and you stay on Pro until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. After that, your account reverts to Free — your profile stays up, nothing gets deleted.
What happens if I downgrade with more than 2 drafts?: Nothing bad. Your extra drafts stay put, they’re just read-only until you delete a few or subscribe again. We don’t delete your work.
Is the lifetime deal real?: Yes — it’s genuinely limited to the first 500 members as a thank-you for showing up early. It covers every Pro feature we ship, now and later. It’s a one-time payment, not a trial.
Do you offer a student / open-source discount?: Email support@readmebio.com with proof (a .edu address or a link to your repo) and we’ll comp you a Pro plan for a year. We mean it.
What does “priority support” actually mean?: Pro members get a dedicated email address — priority@readmebio.com — separate from general support. We aim to reply within one business day. General questions still go to support@readmebio.com.
